Brotherhood

In Brotherhood, John Romi analyzes the mechanics of synchronized parallel processing and structural redundancy.
The canvas is anchored by a massive, hierarchical triangular aggregate composed of intersecting pink, red, and blue chromatic planes operating within a deep, low-frequency atmospheric baseline. Modifying the physical topography of the grid, Romi deploys tactile, raised vertical extrusions constructed from dense paper and paste. These physical elements—rendered in green, brown, and blue—function strictly as isolated hardware blocks.
They act as literal load-bearing pins, physically locking the intersecting geometric armatures into a state of absolute mechanical equilibrium, translating the concept of systemic integration into a severe, physical equation.
