Water

In Water, John Romi executes a structural codification of continuous spatial displacement and volumetric pressure.

Stripping away the life-giving mythology of classical elements, the containment field is engineered as a highly permeable, shifting geometric matrix of low-frequency blue and pastel green strata. Dominating the central vertical axis is a high-saturation orange armature intersected by a primary horizontal vector, visually calculating the exact structural tension of liquid mass pushing against a rigid grid. In the lowest atmospheric stratum, a series of sharp, upward-tapering orange chevron vectors are deployed as strict buoyancy algorithms, mathematically codifying the upward resistance and physical instability of fluid mechanics into a heavy, permanent Data-Brick.
