Artist

In Artist, John Romi physically maps the primary generative node and systemic data processor, completely annihilating the romanticized tradition of the self-portrait.
The containment field is engineered as a dense, modular matrix of square chromatic data blocks. This highly stabilized atmospheric baseline is actively intersected by massive, semi-transparent triangular planes—an orange variable pushing from the lower-left and a yellow variable from the upper-right—that mathematically force a thermodynamic shift across the grid. At the exact locus of this geometric interference, Romi isolates a central vertical column.
Within this core, severe black cuneiform extrusions and a central orange chevron are deployed as literal structural pins, permanently locking the shifting topological planes into rigid, objective data storage.
